Grow your own cut flowers

Spring is the perfect time to start your own cut flower patch , no matter how big or small! I will welcome you with tea/coffee and cake and we will begin with me presenting you an overview of the day and the subjects we will cover including ground preparation, propagation, types of flowers and how to grow. This will be followed by a tour of the plot where I can introduce you to different areas and approaches to growing, demonstrating you don’t need a large area to grow flowers. After this and after lunchtime we will go in depth into the different aspects of growing cut flowers in an informal setting, questions are welcome throughout and I will provide you with a comprehensive handout to take home. No previous knowledge is required. To end the day we will head back out to the plot and sow some seeds – the first plants for your new cutting garden to take home! Lunch and refreshments included.

Dried flower fun!

I’d love to welcome you to my studio to create your own everlasting flower creation - bouquet, wreath or whatever your imagination conjures up, selecting from a wide range of dried materials. I will guide you through basic techniques and then let you loose to experiment with textures, shapes and colours. Tea, coffee and cake included!

Make your own vase or handtied arrangement

Come and have a tour around our farm, followed by tea and cake while I do a quick demo of a vase or handtied bouquet arrangement to guide you with creating your own masterpiece to take home and enjoy. All flowers and equipment will be provided, along with refreshments to include delicious home-made cakes from a local artisan bakery.

Flower crown workshops
2hrs (10–12am or 2-4pm), £55/per person

The ultimate fun flower filled morning or afternoon – we will begin with a tour around our farm, a relaxing and meditative pick your own flowers session followed by tea and cake while the flowers rest and have a drink. I will then do a quick demo of a flower crown then you can begin creating your very own flower crown masterpieces. All flowers and equipment will be provided, along with refreshments to include delicious home-made cakes from a local artisan bakery. This could also include lunch if required at an extra £10 per person.
The perfect way to celebrate a special birthday or occasion with friends and family, such as a hen party or baby shower.

We also offer private workshops to small groups, held in our new studio space or cutting garden.
